A Luxury Newport Wedding With Italian Accents
On an idyllic September 13th day on the iconic Newport International Boat Show weekend, guests arrived to the soft ocean breeze and sweeping views of Newport Harbor—the perfect backdrop for a romantic Italian-inspired wedding. Emily and Peter wanted their celebration to feel refined, relaxed, and timeless, with subtle nods to the place where their love story took its next chapter: the Amalfi Coast.
Custom Details That Told Their Love Story
To honor their Matrimonia di Scarpato, we designed a day filled with personal touches:
A round, lush bar overflowing with garden greenery and featuring custom sailboat-shaped menus—a whimsical nod to life on the coast-the bride grew up in Beverly along the ocean.
Elegant white and blush garden roses throughout the ceremony and reception spaces, adding soft, classic romance. Color was key to fill the gorgeous white walls of the Belle Mer.
Plush outdoor lounge seating overlooking the water, giving guests a relaxed yet luxury harbor-side experience.
Candlelit tables set with custom named menu cards and layered textures and monogram for a warm, intimate glow as the sun set over Newport.
A signature espresso martini, celebrating their Sorrento engagement and adding just the right touch of la dolce vita.
Every detail was intentionally crafted to reflect Emily and Peter: refined, heartfelt, and effortlessly beautiful.
