Gatsby 50th Birthday

Shannon enjoying a laugh with her besties at her 50th!
A powerhouse woman celebrates her 50th birthday with only the closest family and friends.
When Shannon reached out to us to plan her own 50th birthday—just months after we wrapped her husband’s fabulous fête—we were beyond thrilled! Being invited back to celebrate another milestone with our clients is the heart of why we do what we do.
Already familiar with Shannon’s signature style—equal parts charm, elegance, glam and sparkle—we knew we wanted to give her a night that felt both timeless and tailored just for her. So we proposed a Gatsby-style Speakeasy Soirée with a touch of Old Hollywood glam… a perfect excuse for Shannon to step into a stunning emerald gown (a nod to her May birthday). And let’s just say—she understood the assignment.
The celebration took place at the upscale, and “all the buzz” Restaurant Post 1917—a space with a personal twist, as Shannon once worked there back when it was still a post office during her high school years. Talk about a full-circle moment!
Guests were invited to dress in 1920s and 1930s attire or whatever made them feel fabulous—and they absolutely delivered. The atmosphere was brought to life with lush, dramatic florals strung with pearls and fruit, dripping and spilling over tables in opulent arrangements that felt both decadent and dreamlike.
The drinks flowed, the band swayed, and the party was nothing short of electric. American Idol alum Erika Van Pelt and her partner Joseph kept the room buzzing, performing beloved classics before turning up the energy with a DJ-led dance party and a group sing-along to close out the night.
As for the menu? A feast. From seafood towers to perfectly cooked steaks, guests dined and danced their way through a night of laughter, elegance, and unforgettable memories. The wine was poured, the champagne was popped—and the celebration carried well into the early hours.
Shannon, you were pure magic. Here's to the next 50!
