Winter Gala above TD Garden

From Construction Zone to Holiday Gala

A Workplace Relocation Celebration Designed in Just 4 Weeks.

When this corporate client came to us, the ask was bold:
Design and produce a holiday gala in just four weeks—inside their brand new workplace, still very much under construction.

No finished walls.
No defined event space.
And a holiday deadline that wasn’t moving.

Perfect.

The Challenge: A Blank (and Incomplete) Canvas

This wasn’t just about planning a party—it was about creating an environment where one didn’t yet exist.

We were working with:

  • An unfinished interior

  • Limited infrastructure

  • Tight timelines right before the busiest season of the year

  • Limited (office) lighting

  • Construction equipment

But within that challenge was opportunity.

Because when you start with a raw space, you get to define everything.

The Vision: A Winter Light Chasing Experience

From the beginning, we aligned on a concept that felt both elevated and experiential:

A winter-inspired, warm light–chasing space.

The goal wasn’t traditional holiday décor.
It was about movement, glow, and atmosphere—creating a space guests could feel as they moved through it (and imagine where they would build their office community in the new year.)

The Transformation: Pipe, Drape, and Pure Creativity

To bring the vision to life, we built the space from the ground up—literally.

  • Full pipe and drape installation to soften and conceal unfinished areas

  • Defined “rooms” within the open footprint to guide guest flow including a palm reader room, coat check, green room…

  • Layered lighting to create depth, warmth, and visual intrigue

What was once a construction site became:

  • A glowing, immersive environment

  • A space that felt intentional, finished, and beautifully designed

  • A holiday setting that invited guests to relax and celebrate

The Power of the Right Team

This kind of turnaround doesn’t happen without the right people.

We assembled a team of creatives—lighting designers, production partners, and installation experts—who could move quickly and execute at a high level.

Every decision mattered:

  • Where the light hit

  • How guests moved

  • What they saw first (blueprint of the space with completion photos and hollywood glam photo moment—and what revealed itself as the night unfolded

The Result: A Night That Felt Effortless

Guests walked into a space that felt:

  • Warm

  • Inviting

  • Complete

No one saw the construction.
No one felt the timeline.

They experienced a holiday gala that felt intentional, elevated, and fully realized—exactly as it should.
