Family Corporate Event on the Boston Harbor

Davios | Seaport, MA

A Corporate Family Celebration for the Department of Surgery

When you bring together a team that spends their days caring for others, the goal is simple: Create a day where they feel celebrated, relaxed, and truly present with the people who matter most.

For the Department of Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital, we designed a Spring Family Outing that blended elevated hospitality with joyful, hands-on experiences for every age.

The Setting-Tented Coastal Spring

The iconic waterfront at Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse in Boston’s Seaport District—transformed into a vibrant, tented spring playground.

We created a fully tented outdoor environment just steps from the harbor—allowing guests to enjoy fresh spring air while maintaining comfort and structure.

The design leaned into:

  • A colorful rainbow palette with pops of playful color for families

  • Open-flow layout so guests could move easily between dining and activity zones

  • A balance of refined corporate hosting and approachable, family-friendly energy

This wasn’t just an outing—it was an experience designed to feel effortless from arrival to departure.

The Experience: The Pop Shop for Every Age

We curated a series of interactive stations under the tent—each one designed to spark creativity, encourage connection, and give guests something meaningful to take home.

⚾ Baseball Raglan Making

A nod to spring and game-day nostalgia—kids designed their own custom raglan tees, choosing colors and layouts while our team pressed each piece on site.

🌈 Sun Catcher Station

A light-filled favorite—guests created vibrant sun catchers that shimmered in the afternoon light, adding a touch of magic to the tented space.

🎨 Paint Your Squishie

Playful, tactile, and wildly popular—this station invited creativity without rules. Bright colors, fun shapes, and instant gratification.

🌱 Plant a Garden

A whimsical planting experience featuring:

  • Mini gardens

  • Charming animals and character accents

  • A hands-on moment that felt both grounding and imaginative

Each child left with something they created—turning the event into a memory that extended well beyond the day.
